Travel & Lodging in Sequim
TRANSPORTATION TO SEQUIM
We recommend that you fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac). From there:
Rent a Car and Drive
It's about two and a half hour drive to Sequim. Depending on which route you take, part of that drive is a 35-minute ferry ride. The charge to ride the ferry is approx $11.55 for vehicle and driver. If you travel north from Sea Tac Airport to Seattle you will be taking the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island. From the Bainbridge Island ferry dock, it's approximately a 1.5 hour drive to Sequim. The other route is to "drive around" through Tacoma, and then on to Sequim. The driving time is about the same. This route doesn't involve a ferry ride.
Reserve a Commuter Flight with Kenmore Air
http://www.kenmoreair.com Kenmore planes are eight- or twelve-seaters. Your destination is Port Angeles. It's a 25-minute flight over the beautiful Puget Sound and San Juan islands. If you tire of looking down at water during your flight, just look over at the magnificent Olympic National Park! Sequim is a 25-minute drive from the Port Angeles (Fairchild Intl.) airport. There are two rental car businesses in Port Angeles, Budget and Enterprise. If you choose not to rent a car, the taxi fare from the airport in Port Angeles to your hotel in Sequim will be approximately $50.
Take Olympic Bus Lines
This bus service has two scheduled pickups at SeaTac Airport each day; see http://www.olympicbuslines.com, or phone 800-457-4492. They will deliver you to the bus stop in Sequim. The distance from the bus stop to the Quality Inn is .93 miles. If you contact Olympic Bus Lines via e-mail and get an "auto reply" message that they are booked for the trip that you need, please call them directly.

Rocket Transportation
Rocket Transportation is based in Sequim and offers many different types of transportation services. Shuttle service is an attempt to share transportation to and from the Olympic Peninsula in order to have a more affordable door to door travel option. Shuttles are a not scheduled service. They arrive and depart based only on reservations. Consider what is most important to you: Speed of travel, schedule predictability, cost savings, parking costs, unattended vehicle, or Door-to-Door service. There is not a one-size fits all solution to traveling to and from the peninsula, but we’d be happy to help you find the service that best fits your needs. Click here for details!
